Since 2025, business plans to free from excessive statistical reporting

The State had adopted a law to reduce the reporting burden on small enterprises in the collection of statistical data and to eliminate duplication among different agencies.

Instead of filling multiple forms for different agencies, statistics will be collected in a single way, including from the State system. This should significantly reduce reporting time.

According to the text of the Act, the Government of the Russian Federation will approve the periodicity of the collection of indicators included in the relevant lists, the design and maintenance of such lists, and the order and frequency of selected federal statistical surveys of small and medium-sized enterprises.

The innovations are intended to avoid duplication and conflict of data collected, and to exclude the collection of information already contained in public information systems. The business now collects information not only from Rosstat, but also from industry and regional agencies.

Rosstat will be the focal point for the lists, and data collection will be conducted through the ICP.RF Digital Platform and the Gosu-service portal. The law is expected to enter into force on 1 January 2025.
