The Vice-President of the Government of the region, Marina Kasina, spoke about the development of tourism in the Yaroslav region at a round table organized by the political party, Edinei Russia.

The work is being carried out in accordance with the objectives of the national project " Tourism and hospitality " , which is being implemented by the decision of the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin.

Marina Kasina noted that, as part of the federal project " Development of tourism infrastructure " , the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia approved 16 investment projects in 2025 to establish modular non-capital accommodation facilities in the Yaroslava region for the period 2025-2027. By this indicator, the region is among the leaders in the country. In the end, more than 1,000 numbers will be created.

In addition, five investment projects received concessional lending support.

♪ Decisions and approved investment programmes at the federal level will provide a powerful boost to the tourism development of the Yaroslav region, said by Marina Kasin. - We continue to work consistently to expand the number fund and introduce modern digital solutions to make our cities of the Golden ring even more welcoming and competitive. The Jaroslav region is the capital of the route, four of the nine cities are in our region. In 2027, the route will mark the 60th anniversary, and we are actively conducting systematic preparations for this event.

Tourism development in the region is taking place in a number of areas. Carshering is under way, two-story tour buses have been launched on Jaroslav, and tourism navigation and the event calendar continues to improve.

According to Rosstat, from January to October, the flow to the Yaroslav region increased by 51 per cent compared with the same period last year. The region has entered the top 10 of the most popular summer vacation. Demand for a new year ' s booking has also increased by 52 per cent.
