More than 9,000 hectares of land are planned to be farmed in the region next year

This was reported by the Governor of the Jaroslava Region, Michael Evreev.

♪ In 2026, we will continue the systematic development of non-utilized agricultural land and plan to introduce more than 9,000 hectares in the Pervomai, Borisogleb and Jaroslav districts. For this purpose, the federal budget provides for more than 35 million roubles, said by Michael Evravev. - This is part of our strategy for the efficient use of the resources of the region.

Producers who are involved in the introduction of agricultural land can receive financial support for meliorative activities.

♪ This year, more than 22 million roubles were allocated for cultural works and melioration for merchandise producers; the first Vice-President of the Government of Jaroslav province, Denis Hohrakov, noted. In addition, inter-ethnic and cadastral records are used to expand the land bank. This year, over 11,000 hectares are in place. Land entry contributes to their efficient use and investment.

The fight against the Sinaski Breeder, which has been strengthened on behalf of the head of the region, is an essential condition for the integration of land. From 2023, the processing area has been increased by more than three times, from 800 to 3,100 hectares. Funding for this purpose has also increased from 15.2 to 57.6 million roubles.

♪ This year ' s efforts to eliminate the Borzevik have taken place in two stages. Three types of treatment were used in the fight against weed: chemical, mechanical and mixed; the Minister of APC and the consumer market in the Eugeni Tion region reported. In 2026, it is planned to cover almost 4,000 hectares of land, which will allow for further systemic reduction of the area covered by the Sinai Borzevik.

To monitor results, the technical assignments of the contracts include a requirement for the photo recording of each phase of the work with a geographical connection.

The effectiveness of the activities is enhanced by the digitization of land by the Government of the Yaroslav region. Modern technologies allow the rapid identification of breeding sites and the management of their destruction. Information on the growth of the weeds with time and processing results shall be recorded in the Geoportal of the Yaroslav region.

If landowners fail to meet their obligations, response measures are applied, including the possible removal of sites.
