More than 7 billion roubles were purchases from new ICPs in the first quarter of 2024
The procurement of SMEs from new regions in the first quarter of 2024 exceeded 7 billion roubles. This is almost five times more than the January-March year before.
In the first three months of this year, almost 1,000 representatives of the small and medium-sized business of Donetsk and Lugan People ' s Republics, Zaporoz and Herson regions became suppliers to 223-FZ.
" The results of the first quarter of 2024 show a brief increase in the procurement performance of SMEs in new regions compared with the same period last year. For example, procurement increased almost fivefold to over 7 billion roubles. At the same time, the number of suppliers from small and medium-sized businesses increased 4.5 times, almost 1,000. About four times the number of contracts with SMEs in new regions has increased to about 2,500, and the Director-General of the SME Corporation, Alexander Isaevich, noted.
Among the new regions, in the first quarter, the largest volume of SME procurement, 3.78 billion roubles, came to the People ' s Republic of Korea. In the Luhan People ' s Republic, a similar figure exceeded 2 billion roubles. In Herson province, more than 1.1 billion roubles were contracted with SMEs. In the Zaporace region, the amount was about 100 million roubles.
The largest amount of procurement from ICPs in new regions was for catering services (more than 822 million roubles). The top-3 also included construction specialized works (almost 675 million), products (636 million).
“Participation in procurement for 223-FZ is an opportunity for small and medium-sized businesses to have access to a market with enormous potential. In general, in Russia, procurement for 2023 resulted in approximately 8 trillion roubles. This has been the record since the introduction of the mandatory small and medium-sized business procurement quota, which is monitored by the SME Corporation in conjunction with the regions, and has been emphasized by Alexander Isaevich. At the same time, four out of five contracts, the largest customers were with SME suppliers, and most of the purchases came from production products. "
It will be recalled that companies with a State are required to purchase at least 25 per cent of total procurement from small and medium-sized businesses during the year, including 20 per cent of procurements involving only SMEs. The SME Corporation and regional governments monitor the implementation of the quota. Procurement from small and medium-sized businesses is included in the Maloe and Middle Entrepreneurship Project. He was initiated by President Vladimir Putin.
