Technological equipment, components and parts thereof, as well as raw materials and materials for the implementation of investment projects in sectors important to the economy, have been exempted from customs duties when entering the country.

The list includes 50 priority activities for which benefits are available. These are crops, medicines, food and beverages, paper, electrical equipment, computers, transport, information technology, telecommunications, passenger transport, construction, oil and gas production. Later, coal, peat, metal ores, decorative and construction stones, limestone, hips, mills and slans, gravia and sand quarries, electricity, gas and ferry, and air conditioning were added to the list.

Since August 2023, sport, recreation and entertainment (activities related to sports facilities, cultural parks and recreation parks, thematic parks) have been included in the list of priority activities for the import of equipment and materials without customs duties.

Conditions of receipt

At least 250 million roubles are required for each investment project claiming listing.
