The Strategic Initiatives Agency (SAI) has initiated the selection of public representatives. This is one of the key players in the ASI regional network, who volunteer to promote Agency projects and programmes in RF entities where they live and work.

The selection takes place in three key areas:

(1) Mediation and investment

Representatives of regional business associations, business representatives and public opinion leaders may apply.

Key challenges include:

• Collection of business proposals and problems;
• Organization of activities to improve the investment climate;
• Monitoring of regional road maps on the implementation of the National Business Target Model;
• Verify the implementation of the practice on the Smarteca platform and assess the practices from the region.

(2) " Environment and climate "

Representatives of public or professional associations, environmental experts, climate and project management, representatives of scientific organizations, entrepreneurs and public opinion leaders may participate in the selection process.

Key challenges include:

• Identification of relevant environmental and climate challenges in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation;
• Promoting the technologies and projects supported by ASI to be implemented in the regions;
• Engaging organizations in the implementation of the Public Capital Standard;
• Expert assessment of ideas and projects in the selection of ASI leadership projects and the Forum " Strong ideas for a new time " .

(3) Young professionals

Participants in the regional human resources or youth policy communities; representatives of business, science, education, social organizations, and leaders of public opinion are invited to attend.

Key challenges include:

• ASI ' s young professionals;
• Identifying and involving leaders, projects and partners;
• Development of a network of professional communities in education and entrepreneurship.

The selection will take place in four stages:

1. Collection of applications for participation by 3 April;
2. Testing of candidates before 20 April;
3. Individual interviews with candidates by 12 May;
4. Confirmation of the composition of public representatives until 22 May.

Background:

The public representatives of ASI serve as a bridge between society, entrepreneurship and power. They identify problems, record gaps between the objectives of State programmes and the real situation on the ground, determine the need of the Territories for support measures. Public representatives also serve as decision makers, helping to shape and accompany initiatives, select the most effective projects and transmit relevant information to the Agency.
