The annual update of the single registry excludes information on companies that have ceased to meet the criteria of SME entities or have not provided the necessary records.

" Today, Russia ' s business is developing 6.2 million SME entities, of which more than 4 million are individual entrepreneurs, 2.2 million are legal entities. Over the year, the number of SME entities increased by 254,000. The positive development of the SME sector shows that it is ready for qualitative growth” was noted by the Vice-President of the Government, Alexander Novak.

The Single Register of SME Entities under the Federal Small and Medium Enterprise Development Act is updated monthly and annually.

It includes monthly information on newly established SME entities and excludes information on enterprises that have ceased to operate during the previous month.
