Manufacturing enterprises are credited most actively in the Yaroslav region
As noted in the Jaroslava branch of the Bank of Russia, as of 1 July 2024, the credit portfolio of legal entities in the region was 318.1 billion roubles, increasing by 26.7 billion roubles (+9.2 per cent) from the beginning of the year.
In the portfolio, about 75 per cent (237,5 billion roubles) are large business loans (the half-year growth was 7.4 per cent). Small and medium-sized businesses received credits of 80.6 billion roubles (+15.2 per cent).
The largest share of the region ' s credit portfolio - over 47 per cent - is manufactured (149.7 billion roubles), other activities (59.2 billion roubles or 18.6 per cent), wholesale and retail trade (31.3 billion roubles or 9.8 per cent). Loaning for the production and distribution of electricity, gas and water (+1344.4 per cent), wholesale and retail trade (+35.7 per cent) increased in the first half of this year.
As noted in the September analytical report of the Bank of Russia ' s " Regional Economics " , the monthly growth of the corporate credit portfolio slowed in June this year. In the Jaroslava region, for example, it decreased by 6.3 per cent from the first half of 2023. Business demand for credit has been supported by preferential government programmes. They allowed a number of enterprises to replace equipment, expand their production, finance ongoing activities and import.
