SMEs will attract about 120 billion rubles for "umbrella" guarantees in the second quarter of 2024
"It was decided to allocate a total of 60 billion rubles of umbrella guarantees to partner banks for the second quarter. This includes 10 billion rubles for loans up to 3 million rubles. Taking into account the fact that "umbrella" guarantees cover up to half of the loan amount, these limits will allow banks to issue at least 120 billion rubles of credit funds to representatives of SMEs. Of these, 20 billion rubles are "microchecks", loans in demand from SMEs in the amount of up to 3 million rubles," Alexander Isaevich noted, recalling that it is also possible to receive funds under "umbrella" guarantees from regional banks that previously received limits until the end of 2024.
For the second quarter of 2024, Sberbank, Alfa-Bank, Promsvyazbank, VTB, Sovcombank, Tinkoff Bank, Bank Saint Petersburg, GPB, Levoberezhny, Bank DOM were among the credit institutions that received limits of "umbrella" guarantees from the SME Corporation.RF, SME Bank, RNKB, Ak Bars, Zenit, Rosbank, Genbank, Uralsib, Absolut Bank.
Umbrella guarantees help small and medium-sized businesses receive bank financing. This also applies to situations when entrepreneurs do not have enough or no collateral of their own, — Alexander Isaevich reminded. — Due to the fact that not only federal but also regional banks act as partners of the SME Corporation, businesses can literally get umbrella guarantees in any corner of our country. Moreover, it is seamless (in one window with a loan) and absolutely free of charge."
Recall that the mechanism of "umbrella" guarantees has been developed by the SME Corporation on behalf of President Vladimir Putin since September 2021. The support measure is being implemented within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium-sized Enterprises", which was initiated by the head of state and overseen by the First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Andrey Belousov.
