International Technology Forum "Innovations. Technologies. Production"
On April 18-19, 2024, Rybinsk will host the 10th anniversary annual International Technology Forum "Innovations. Technologies. Production". Preparations for the event have already begun. Dmitry Ivanov, one of the organizers of the event, Director of Innovative Development of UEC-Saturn, tells about what awaits the participants of the forum, how large-scale and interesting the event promises to be, what new topics, sections and speakers will appear within the framework of MTF-2024.
The first forum in Rybinsk was held in 2014. At that time it was a regional event organized to share the experience and knowledge of manufacturing companies in the Yaroslavl region with foreign colleagues from Saxony and the Fraunhofer Institute of Germany. As a matter of fact, this is where our forum began. Over the past 10 years, more than 9,000 people have attended the event. More than 2,500 speakers spoke at the sections of the forum. Every year, more than 25 sections of various technological orientation worked at the forum. And the results of the work of those sections, which in 2014 were perceived as a kind of distant future, can be seen in the workshop in 2024.
It is worth noting that the 10th year of the forum is taking place in very interesting conditions related to the development of the Yaroslavl-Tutaev-Rybinsk agglomeration. The Government of the Russian Federation has decided to create a new world-class educational campus. At the end of 2023, our main university, the P. A. Solovyov Russian State Technical University, one of the co-organizers of the forum, won the competitive selection of grants for the development of an advanced engineering school. The year 2024 is the first year of the creation of the advanced engineering school "Engine Building Technologies" in Rybinsk. Therefore, we are starting a new stage of work, a new cycle of creating scientific and technological groundwork for enterprises of the United Engine Corporation, Rostec enterprises, enterprises of the Yaroslavl region and invite all partners to participate in our forum. The program of the forum this year will be updated with several completely new sections and events, first of all, within the framework of MTF-2024, a demo day of the Industrial Competence Center "Engine Building" on import substitution of software in the industry will be held. There will be several sections in this area, in which the main manufacturers of engineering software will take part. The sections will discuss the implementation of major software development projects in the interests of the engine industry. A separate event within the framework of the demo day is the matches of young startups, representatives of software companies.
Another important component of the forum will be the innovation session of the United Engine Corporation, which will be attended by universities from all over the country that interact with the UEC, as well as various regional infrastructure funds, development centers, and technology parks. They will present the full range of their capabilities to enterprises in the engine industry. First of all, it will be an acquaintance and an exchange of opinions. Of course, in my opinion, historically significant sections on additive technologies, metal-cutting tools, metrological support of production, and technological preparation of production will remain in the program of the forum. Once again, one of the central places in the forum program will be allocated to the sections of digital doubles and digital certification.
The key theme of the 10th anniversary forum is "Frontier technologies of unmanned systems". We are expanding the list of technological areas discussed at the forum. In addition to purely technological sections for the engine industry, we will consider related promising areas for the development of unmanned systems. This is the production of not only gas turbine engines, but also piston engines, which will be presented by our partners from Yaroslavl State Technical University; these are also control systems, which will be presented by P. G. Demidov Yaroslavl State University. In addition, we expect a large number of companies that work in other industries and together configure the most promising and strategically important industry for the development of our country - the unmanned aviation industry.
We are waiting for all colleagues interested in our event on April 18-19 in Rybinsk. We hope to ensure a high level of reception, intensity of discussions and discussions on the designated topics. Personal participation this year is more important than ever, as there will be no video broadcast of the sections for obvious reasons.
The forum venues are the Social and Cultural Center and the Rybinsk Aviation College of the P. A. Solovyov Russian State Technical University.
