​The Days of the Yaroslavl Region in the Federation Council will be held in Moscow on March 19-20. Governor Mikhail Evraev will lead the delegation of the region. 

"We are carefully preparing for the event, where we are going to present the investment and tourism potential of the Yaroslavl region, as well as tell in detail about our history, culture, major projects and development plans," the governor said. He also expressed hope for the support of senators for the implementation of important projects and initiatives in the region. 

An exhibition will be organized within the framework of the event, where the achievements of the Yaroslavl region in various fields will be presented: culture, science, sports, education, and economics. 

Senators will be able to get acquainted with key projects in various areas, such as healthcare, industry, agriculture, infrastructure, tourism and the social sphere. 

The exhibition will feature well-known brands of the region, products of local manufacturers, folk crafts, as well as developments of large enterprises. 

Visitors will be able to take photos with the symbol of Yaroslavl - a bear with an axe. 

The event will also include a business program with the participation of senators of the Russian Federation and representatives of the Yaroslavl Region authorities. Earlier, the Days of the Yaroslavl region in the Federation Council were held in 2018.
