Andrey Belousov and Tatyana Golikova discussed the introduction of lean technologies in the social sphere

Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed to cover 40% of medium-sized and large enterprises of basic non-resource sectors of the economy and all social institutions with projects to increase labor productivity.

"By mid-summer, it is necessary to form a plan for the introduction of lean technologies in priority social institutions in the regions of the country and determine performance indicators. The key results should be an increase in the availability of services and the speed of service for citizens, therefore, it is planned to evaluate the results through feedback mechanisms," Andrei Belousov said.

"Based on the experience of implementing lean manufacturing technologies in individual social institutions, uniform recommendations will be developed. Their application will make it possible to qualitatively improve the level of service in social institutions by 2030. In addition, in accordance with the instructions of the President, we will consider the inclusion of measures to introduce lean manufacturing techniques in national projects," Tatyana Golikova noted.

Projects to improve the efficiency of non-resource companies and social organizations are already being implemented. Industrial enterprises are helped in this by the national project "Labor Productivity", which has covered more than 6 thousand companies.

The project "Lean Polyclinic" is working in the field of healthcare. It helps to reduce queues to doctors, dilute patient flows, and improve the quality of service. Since 2022, the Comfortable School project has been launched, which works on similar principles: reorganization reduces the burden on teachers, reduces queues in the cloakroom and library. The Vice Premiers agreed to take this experience into account in order to implement the President's instructions.

The meeting was also attended by Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov, Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov, Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko, Minister of Culture Olga Lyubimova, Minister of Labor and Social Protection Anton Kotyakov.
