A joint project of the Russian TGC-2 and the Chinese Huadian Corporation for the construction of a 450 MW CCGT power unit in Yaroslavl. 

TGC-2 is the only company that implements a joint Russian-Chinese project in the field of thermal generation with the involvement of direct project financing from major Chinese banks. 

The Huadian-Teninsk thermal power plant was commissioned on June 20, 2017. 

The station will solve the problem of energy shortages in the Yaroslavl region, as well as provide heat to the entire Northern residential area of Yaroslavl
