A joint project of the Russian TGC-2 and the Chinese Huadian Corporation for the construction of a PGU-450 MW power unit in Yaroslavl.

TGC-2 is the only company that is implementing a joint Russian-Chinese project in the field of thermal generation with direct project financing from the largest Chinese banks.

Huadian-Tenin CHPP was commissioned on June 20, 2017.

The station will solve the issue of energy shortage in the Yaroslavl region, and also provide heat to the entire Northern residential area of Yaroslavl.
